Sealife Response, Rehab & Research

With updated facilities on the horizon, Sealife Response, Rehab, and Research—a Pacific Northwest nonprofit—sought an evolved identity renewal. The goal was to better reflect their services and clientelle with humanity/warmth while maintaining authority across environments, reflecting its role as a regional marine wildlife responder rather than a local veterinary provider. Context • Evolve the Logo Identity System
• Create Flexible Brand Lockups
• Establish Graphic Foundation
• Audience Engagement Activation
• Extend the Brand Across Environments
Criteria

SR3s’ final logo lockups are designed for clarity and consistency across all applications. Defined clearspace ensures the mark remains legible, protected, and visually prominent in every environment. Identity Development Our logo exploration spanned bold, iconic, expressive directions, seeking a symbol embodying SR3’s strength and empathy, with a mark representing multiple land and sea animals to show service breadth. Logo Design Graphic Foundation The graphic foundation is built to feel positive, clear, and distinctly theirs. The primary blue serves as a bright, uplifting anchor for the brand, while our vibrant yellow acts as an alerting color—standing out in shifting environmental conditions. Photo Journalism captures situations as they happen; pattern, and typography round out the system, including a bespoke wave pattern designed to add energy and movement to large-scale applications while creating flexible spaces for text. The final symbol is modern, approachable, and aligned with SR3’s mission. It balances scientific credibility with the compassion and care at the heart of their work Lockups
